Self-hosting Geshtu is five minutes — but it still means you own a Postgres, a Redis, and a Caddyfile. For teams who'd rather skip that, we're building a hosted version: managed Postgres, OAuth, point-in-time backups, email digests, status page.
Every feature documented in the spec stays in the OSS version, free, forever. The hosted version is a convenience, not a feature gate. New features may launch on cloud first and migrate to OSS later — but never the reverse.

Pricing is indicative — subject to change before launch. The free self-host link sits next to every tier, on purpose. That's not a footnote, that's the deal.
1 project · 5K facts · hosted convenience.
Unlimited projects · all digest depths.
Min. 3 seats · multi-team · BYOK Anthropic.
Soft-launch in private beta when waitlist passes ~150 teams. Public when we're happy with uptime. No firm date — we'd rather ship right than ship now.
EU only at launch (Hetzner DE/FI). US region after general availability. Customer data never leaves the region you pick.
No. Anthropic doesn't train on our API traffic, per their data usage policy. We don't train anything ourselves.
Yes — the OSS export/import tooling is the migration path. Same schema both sides.
Yes. Same export tooling, in reverse. Anti-lock-in is a design goal.
No. The promise is at the top of this page. Every spec feature stays free, forever.
